Being kind can surprisingly make a positive impact on people and the world. National Kindness Day is a day to commemorate and advocate kindness in all ways. This day is February 17 and unites people all around the world.  Hopefully this day can encourage people to be kind even when the day passes for a better life.

Here’s a list of kind acts you can participate in :

Compliment someone meaningfully

  1. Hold the door open for others
  2. Pay for a friend’s food or snack etc.
  3. Donate your time or money
  4. Clean up someone else’s mess
  5. Let someone cut you in line
  6. Smile more often
  7. Say “Thank You” A LOT!
  8. Don’t Complain.
  9. Give the people you love hugs
  10. Express your love by saying what they mean to you or what you admire about them

Some famous and inspiring quotes are:

“Kindness makes you the most beautiful person in the world no matter what you look like.” (Zig ZIglar)

“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” (Aesop)
