DIY: Pumpkin Bread

With Thanksgiving approaching, everyone is looking forward to stuffing their mouths with delicious foods! Well, in this article, I will be giving you a recipe to make one of my favorite desserts– pumpkin bread!

This short and easy recipe is easy to follow, and provides you with great-tasting pumpkin bread in a short amount of time:


  • 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • ⅔ cup water
  • 3 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 ½ ground cloves
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ginger


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. Grease and flour 7×3 inch loaf pans
  2. In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, eggs, oil, water, and sugar until well-blended. (wet ingredients)
  3. In another bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and ginger. (dry ingredients)
  4. Pour dry ingredients into wet ingredients and mix until everything is well-blended.
  5. Pour and split the mixture into the three loaf pans.
  6. Place pans with mixture into the preheated oven, and let bake for about 50 minutes (Loaves are done when toothpick inserted in center comes out clean)
