The Newest Starbucks Limited Drink: The Zombie Frappuccino

This Fall around Halloween, Starbucks introduced a new limited edition frappuccino, similarly to how they did the Unicorn Frappuccino, called the Zombie Frappucino.

The frappuccino was around for five days between October 26th and October 31st. Unfortunately, not many people got to try it, just mostly blogs trying to review the Zombie Frappuccino and people trying to get a photo-op with it.

The frappuccino consists of a caramel apple zombie base, a red blood mocha drizzle, and pink brain whipped cream.  It also has thirty-two grams to seventy grams of sugar and are about one hundred and fifty calories to three hundred and ninety calories. The calories from fat range from 15 to 45 calories.

The Zombie Frappuccino is, according to Starbucks official website, supposed to be caramel apple flavored but, according to the Pajiba website, it tasted like fake apple and the flavor was not enough and got washed out. Others go on to say that it was as bad and sugary as the Unicorn Frappuccino, they couldn’t figure out the flavor, while other people believed that it is overly sweet.

The sweetness is said to be as bad as the Unicorn Frappuccino. Which said by the Pajiba website, that one of their workers was “still getting over the sugary shock of the Unicorn Frappe” and the writer was scared to even gulp down a tall version of it.

If you didn’t get to try the Zombie Frappuccino you could try something else which is the Wired Zombie Refresher,it’s distant cousin, which is similar in appearance but is much more different in flavor. It is a more fruity in flavor and less sugary than the Zombie Frappuccino. It lives over on the secret menu so you actually have to say it but hey, at least it is better than the actual Zombie Frappuccino.
