Indie pop band, Echosmith, is resurfacing the music industry releasing more new hits to follow the “Cool Kids” legacy.

In 2009 four siblings came together and started their band in Chino Hills, CA.

Currently there are 3 Echosmith members: Sydney Sierota (keyboard), Noah Sierota (bass guitarist), Graham Sierota (drums).

Noah is 22, Sydney is 20, and Graham is the youngest at 19. The fourth member was eldest of the children, Jamie Sierota, left due to the birth of his first child.

Since the band is a group of siblings, they tried playing together multiple covers from many artists a few years back. Then when they tried playing together again, they realized they had more of a hang of the instruments and could actually harmonize. According to keyboardist Sydney in a statement given, “We actually all picked up instruments individually without the intention of becoming a band and we happened to pick the perfect  instruments to become one!”

From the start of Echosmith, they have four published albums and one to be published sometime later this year. Albus include: Talking Dreams (2013), Summer Sampler (2013), Acoustic Dreams (2014), Inside a Dream (2017).

They have won countless awards such as Top 100 on Billboard (2), Kids Choice Awards, and nominated for Gold and Platinum awards.

Although having a slow start in the music industry, Echosmith has slowly made their name known with hits “Cool Kids” and “Bright”. They also have created more songs than that, such as “Tell Her You Love Her” and “Safest Place” that are as good as their known songs, just not that popular. With them creating new albums more hits I can’t wait for this upcoming album. I love listening to their music just for fun, or to be in a good mood.

Echosmith is a band to listen to, don’t pass this up because you’ll be missing out.
