Middle school has been an interesting time, neither the learning of academics like elementary, or the transitioning phase from teenager to adult in high school. Middle school teaches you the basics to surviving the next four years of your education.

Although the advice is basic, the best help I can give to you is to not procrastinate and manage your time wisely. Try keeping a daily agenda and write down what you need to do, keep yourself organized and take notes!

Middle school drama isn’t and shouldn’t be a priority, it’s much more interesting to spectate from afar instead of being directly involved.

Surround yourself with positive influences, and choose your friends wisely! Choosing the right friends can impact not only your social life but your academic life as well, by surrounding yourself with intelligent and motivated people, you pick up those attributes and you’ll find yourself caring about your grades a lot more.

Middle school has brought me some of my greatest memories and friends, I’ve learned so much about not only academics but myself as well.

I hope future and current students make the best of these three years because they go by quickly! Socialize and be kind to everyone, it’s important to be optimistic and hopeful for yourself, and help others when they need it, whether it be for homework or just being a friend.

Middle school will be some of your best years, cherish them and enjoy your time before going to high school where you will make more amazing memories.
