Ms. Kremenetsky

Ms. Kremenetsky is not a staff writer, but the Journalism Advisor for The Dana Mariner. She is in her fourth year teaching English at Dana Middle School and this is her second year leading the Dana Mariner staff. She graduated with her Master's in the Art of Teaching from the USC Rossier School of Education and received her Bachelor's degree in English with a focus in literature from Loyola Marymount University.

In her free time, Ms. Kremenetsky likes to take as many art classes as possible, specifically ceramics. She plans to go back to school to receive another Bachelor's degree in art. She also enjoys going to dance classes and has been training in Lindy Hop since the age of 15.

When in college, Ms. Kremenetsky published articles in art magazines about the rise of nail art and celebrity manicurists. She conducted interviews, wrote tutorials, and successfully maintained a blog that focused on the impact of the nail art industry in popular culture.

Ms. Kremenetsky often considers herself the least important member of The Dana Mariner because she believes the students are the most critical component to the success of the publication. Nonetheless, she is honored to guide students in their article writing journeys and considers the class a gift to her teaching practice.
